Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Cash Register Assistant focuses on delivering rapid, accurate point-of-sale customer checkout and supporting front-end queue management. You operate seated POS registers to process customer grocery orders efficiently, handle payment transactions securely, and organize checkout cart transfers. When register queues are quiet, you assist with front-facing merchandise on nearby impulse shelves, restocking grocery items, clearing cardboard packaging, and keeping checkout lanes spotless. This position is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site presence at the store (no work-from-home options allowed).
