Role Overview & Responsibilities
As an ALDI Transaction Operator, you focus directly on point-of-sale payment execution, scan speed accuracy, and front-end queue efficiency. You process customer grocery orders at high speeds, handle cash drops securely, process credit, debit, and electronic benefits cards, and ensure exact drawer balances. Between customer rushes, you sanitize payment terminals, stock impulse display racks near registers, and assist with front-facing products on nearby sales aisles. This role is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site presence inside the store (zero remote options).
Qualifications & Benefits
Must be at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED preferred. Requires basic math proficiency, experience with cash handling or POS terminals, high attention to detail, and physical ability to sit, stand, and lift up to 30 lbs.
